Nanotechnology and Next Generation High Efficiency Photovoltaics
International School and Workshop
Palma, Mallorca, Spain
October 1 – 4, 2019

This year’s new edition of the event proudly builds on the previous very successful NEXTGEN NANO PV International Schools and Workshops held in Corsica (France) in 2013, in Menorca (Spain) in 2015, and finally in Mallorca (Spain) in 2017. For the 2019 edition, the emphasis will be on disruptive photovoltaic applications and the position and potential of traditional PV technologies in that context. The Workshop will review, analyse and highlight the latest developments in materials and device concepts for successful industrial implementation of new competitive PV technologies. At the same time, and unique in Europe since 2013, the International School will provide one of the most suitable platforms for an efficient sharing of experience and visions between young researchers and internationally recognised high-level experts from different academic, research and industrial environment. Fostering this interaction, the School will have again a key role to contribute to bridge the gap between laboratory and the industry toward innovative solutions for PV developed in the EU.

The conference will focus on these main topics

  • Thin Films chalcogenides
  • New concepts & industrial perspectives in Si technologies
  • Perovskites, organic & dye sensitized devices
  • Advanced device concepts for very high efficiencies
  • Transfer to industry: technologies for advanced PV integration
  • Young scientists… Building the future of PV
